The open-air exposition was presented to the participants of the holiday by the staff of the Local Smorgon Historical Museum
‘ Today we have made an innovation: we have abandoned the traditional laptops. We present copies of the original manuscripts of partisan life from the Notebooks of Rogachev's partisans. The original, of course, is kept at the Belarusian State Museum of History of the Great Patriotic War ’, said Pavel Kartavik, the head of the collection of the Local Smorgon Historical Museum. He continued , ’The exhibition is complemented by historical photographic exhibits. One of them was made by the military commander Yevgeniy Vorobyov from Smorgon in 1944. The other one shows the members of the STORM reconnaissance and sabotage group together with their commander Nikolai Mikhoilashev and the soviet Aleksandr Deruga, photographed in Smorgon in the early 1970s’.
At the exhibition it was possible to get acquainted with other museum exhibits. Among them are a real military field telephone TAI-43, an officer's tablet, a mock-up of a PPSH submachine gun, a Russian helmet, wire-cutting scissors, a sapper shovel, a satchel and a coal iron used by partisans, as well as aluminum dishes made by partisans from the Suvorov group from a downed German plane.
