The district stage of the competitions "Golden Puck" took place in Smorgon. Young men, who were born in 2005-2006, took part in the district ice hockey competitions "Golden Puck" which were held in Smorgon from February 15 to 17.

«Four teams of 10 people applied for participation in the competition. A team that will take part in the regional stage was selected on the results of the competition. The winners were awarded with diplomas, medals and cups, which were provided by the department of sports and tourism», - commented the chief judge Vladimir Rogach.

Such competitions will be held further but in other age groups categories.

The fact that the boys like this kind of rest is evident by the mood they come to play. Young athletes have a lot of positive emotions.

Competitor Alexei Glavinsky says that he learnt to skate not very long ago but he likes to play hockey very much. The young hockey player believes that in order to succeed, they should have desire and diligence, and then everything will work out.

According to the results of the competition victory in this age category was won by the team from school №1. The team from school №5 took the second place and the third place was taken by the young hockey players from the gymnasium.

Районный этап соревнований «Золотая шайба» состоялся в Сморгони

С 15 по 18 февраля в Сморгони проходили районные соревнования по хоккею «Золотая шайба» среди юношей 2005 – 2006 гг. р.

- На участие в соревнованиях подали заявку 4 команды по 10 человек. По результатам соревнований отобрана команда, которая примет участие в областном этапе. Победители награждены грамотами, медалями и кубками, которые предоставил отдел спорта и туризма, - прокомментировал  главный судья Владимир Рогач.

Соревнования будут проходить и далее, но уже в других возрастных категориях.

О том, что ребятам нравится такой вид отдыха, говорит и то, с каким настроением они приходят играть. У юных спортсменов появляется масса положительных эмоций.

Участник соревнований Алексей Главинский рассказал, что хотя на коньках он научился кататься не очень давно, но играть в хоккей парню нравится. Юный хоккеист считает, чтобы добиться успеха, нужно желание и старание, и тогда всё получится.

По итогам соревнований в этой возрастной категории победу одержала команда из СШ №1. На втором месте расположилась команда СШ №5, третье место  - у ребят из гимназии.
